I have known several hoarders
and compulsive shoppers in
my life. At its extreme
hoarding is as compulsive as
gambling or any other behavior
that seizes control.
Where is the line between collecting
and hoarding? What is it that we seek
in filling our lives with material
goods seldom, if ever used?
Buying more and more “stuff” never
satisfies the longing that one
seeks to fill. A spiritual emptiness
can only be remedied with love.
